Pumpkin King Vegetable Patch is a family-run business located in the deep rich soils of the Holland Marsh. It is part of a four-generational vegetable farm named Holland Acres Inc. that produces carrots, onions and parsnips. In addition to growing vegetables, we specialize in various sizes of pumpkin – including the cute little ones for kids, Indian corn, squash, pie pumpkins (there is a difference!), and gourds of all shapes and sizes.

Philipp Gardens Inc., a small farming operation, has been in existence since 1936, when Rick’s grandfather immigrated to work in the Holland Marsh.
It was Rick’s father, Hal, who owned and operated the farm before Rick took over in 1989 – yet, like any good old farmer, it is difficult to remove the man from the land because Hal is still around helping out.
